6 image collage of construction at turkeyfoot

Elsmere, Kentucky

This project consisted of approximately 50 vertical feet of structural fill placed along a thousand-foot-long slope to support a vast development of four-story hi-rise multifamily buildings.

The project included 10ft high retaining walls, drilled piers, and shallow foundations. In addition to environmental site assessments, preliminary and final geotechnical subsurface investigations including over 30 borings, rock cores, and detailed slope stability analysis and retaining wall design were completed before work began. Construction monitoring and 1704 special inspections spanned across all seasons, day and night, to get the job done.
