NEW PLAINFIELD HIGH SCHOOL
This project consisted of a new 450,000 square foot High School in Plainfield, Indiana. Patriot operated an onsite field office equipped with a concrete compressive strength testing laboratory. Patriot also utilized an onsite Superintendent of Testing to coordinate testing needs with all contractors, perform testing, and schedule up to four other Patriot field technicians as needed. A Project Manager visited the site on a weekly basis to provide experience with problem solving and to secure the needs of the project.
Construction testing & inspections included auger-cast pilings, driven-pile retention systems, structural steel, lightweight slabs-on-deck and conventional concrete foundations, shear towers and walls, earth backfill, vibration monitoring, spray applied fire resistive materials and moisture-emissions testing (flooring). Patriot efficiently completed the construction-phase and geotechnical services on schedule, building a strong relationship with our client and the entire construction & design team.
