This project included rigorous concrete specifications and testing requirements for the City. Patriot completed the testing with ACI-certified technicians on-site and reported results from our AMRL laboratory within twelve hours to help determine whether forms could be stripped and moved for the next day’s pour. This was critical to keep the job moving and on schedule. Strict compliance with the multiple concrete classes and mix designs at the project included testing air content, slump, and superplasticizer additives on a challenging and rapid schedule. A preconstruction meeting with the concrete supplier, contractor, City engineer and Patriot helped kick the project off right.
