Patriot is a diverse engineering firm providing geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials testing services and consultation to commercial, industrial and governmental clients. Patriot provides the specific information you need to make informed, cost-effective business decisions, which will help you reduce net cost, decrease risk and improve the quality of your organization’s project outcomes.

We are a multi-faceted civil engineering firm that has openings for experienced/entry level engineering inspectors to perform soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing on construction related projects.

Description

-Experience and ACI Certification preferred, but not required. Will provide training.

-ICC Certification highly preferred.

-Responsible for daily testing and observation of materials and work quality.

-Verifies conformance of projects with approved contract documents.

-Prepares daily reports and reports discrepancies.

-Communicates effectively with project manager, contractor and owner/owner’s representative throughout project.

-Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel) desirable.

-Able to lift minimum 25 pounds.

-Able to work in inclement weather, confined spaces, heights, & marine environments.

-Positions open for various schedules.

-Hourly pay based on experience.

-Full-time benefits package includes: health, dental, disability, profit sharing, 401(k), vacation, & personal leave.

-Overtime may be required and occasional weekend or after-hours work will be involved.

Requirements

-Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

-Must own reliable transportation and be able to haul testing equipment, wheel barrow, etc.

-Must be able to work independently.

-Must past drug screen & background check.
